3. Provision to Third Parties

Requests for notification of purpose of use, disclosure of personal data or third-party provision records, and similar procedures may be made only by the individual or an agent. The Company handles requests for disclosure and similar procedures, including notification of purpose of use, disclosure of personal information or third-party provision records, correction, addition, deletion, suspension of use, and suspension of provision to third parties, as follows.
(1) Notification of Purpose of Use or Disclosure of Personal Information or Third-party Provision Records
Customers may request notification of purpose of use or disclosure of personal information or third-party provision records from the Company within the scope permitted by the Act on the Protection of Personal Information by following the procedures in (4). However, the Company may decline disclosure in the following cases: disclosure may harm the life, body, property, or other rights and interests of the individual or a third party; disclosure may significantly hinder the proper performance of the Company's business; disclosure would violate laws or regulations; or the disclosure request is not made by the individual. When requesting notification of purpose of use or disclosure of personal information or third-party provision records, the disclosure fee specified in (4) must be paid.
(2) Correction, Addition, and Deletion
Customers may request correction, addition, or deletion of personal information by following the procedures in (4). In such cases, the Company will promptly conduct necessary investigations within the scope required to achieve the purpose of use and, based on the results, correct, add, or delete the personal information within the scope permitted by the Act on the Protection of Personal Information.
(3) Suspension of Use and Similar Procedures
Customers may request suspension of use, erasure, or suspension of provision to third parties of personal information by following the procedures in (4). In such cases, the Company will respond appropriately in accordance with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information.
(4) Procedures
To confirm that the applicant is the individual or an agent, please first contact the Company's dedicated personal information inquiry desk below to request disclosure or similar procedures. The Company will provide the prescribed personal information inquiry application form by electronic record or by the method requested by the applicant. However, if disclosure by the specified method would require a large cost or is otherwise difficult, disclosure will be made by postal mail. Please fill in the required items and mail the form again to the Company's desk together with the identity verification documents described in the form and the actual cost, only when requesting notification of purpose of use or disclosure of personal information, in the form of 300 JPY in postage stamps. If a public certificate is used for identity verification, please black out portions other than the name, address, and other information needed to verify identity. If the personal information inquiry application form is incomplete or identity cannot be verified, the Company will contact you. The Company will respond promptly after receipt, but please understand that postal procedures take time. 5. Security Control Measures for Retained Personal Data
To prevent leakage, loss, damage, and other security issues involving personal data handled by the Company, the Company takes the following measures. If the Company handles personal data in a foreign country, it will promptly respond to customer requests regarding the details of the security control measures it takes.
